Tralent offers tournaments throughout the entire time frame during which global markets are open. Since Tralent uses real-time market data, the availability of certain assets depends on the market hours for each asset class. Here are the general opening hours for major markets, converted to CET:
- Forex: Open 24 hours a day, from Sunday 10 PM UTC to Friday 10 PM UTC. Trading sessions rotate between major financial centers: London, New York, Sydney, and Tokyo.
- Stocks: Stock market hours vary by country. Tralent considers U.S. Stock Markets only (NYSE, NASDAQ): every day from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 09:00 PM UTC.
- Crypto: Cryptocurrency markets are open 24/7 with no closing hours.
- Indices (coming soon): Indices follow the hours of the exchanges they represent. For example, U.S. indices like the S&P 500 and Dow Jones are available during U.S. stock market hours (2:30 PM to 09:00 PM UTC).
- Commodities (coming soon): Major commodity markets, like oil or gold, have varying hours based on the exchange:
- CME Globex (for crude oil, gold, etc.): 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM UTC from Sunday to Friday, with a 60-minute break from 10:00 PM to 11:00 AM UTC daily.
