On Tralent, the P/L (profit or loss) for each trade is calculated by determining the percentage change between the opening and closing prices of the asset. This percentage change is then multiplied by the “Quantity” (QTY), a weight factor assigned by the trader to the trade at the time of execution.
The QTY serves as a weight factor, influencing the overall P/L of the trade. A higher QTY will amplify the impact of the trade’s outcome, whether it results in a profit or a loss. Tralent calculates these values automatically in real-time, contributing to the participant’s overall performance in the tournament.
For additional information on the Quantity system and its role in performance measurement, refer to the section “How is performance measured in the tournaments?“.
